Matt Ojinaga -With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Matt now serves as the Director of Convention Sales at Visit Denver. In this role, he leverages his extensive background and passion for hospitality to help position Denver as a premier destination for business and cultural events. His strategic vision and market insights play a key role in promoting the city's vibrant hotel community.

Matt's hospitality career began in Santa Fe, NM, at two boutique hotels, and he later joined Hyatt Hotels, gaining valuable experience in Albuquerque, San Diego, Chicago, and Los Angeles before making his way to Denver. Prior to joining Visit Denver, Matt was the Director of Sales, Events & Marketing at Thompson Denver. During his tenure, he contributed to significant achievements, such as winning the Opening Team of the Year in 2022 and the Commercial Services Team of the Year for Hyatt’s Lifestyle Division in 2023. These accomplishments highlight Matt's dedication to excellence and his collaborative approach to fostering team success. His efforts continue to support Denver's thriving hotel community, guided by his understanding of market trends and commitment to the hospitality industry.

Nick Doble - Nicholas Doble is an Area Manager for Booking.com based in Denver. He's worked for Booking.com for eighteen years and has extensive OTA experience in both the British and American accommodation markets. In his role as Area Manager, Nicholas is responsible for coordinating the multiple account management teams for nine states in the Mountain West. Nicholas has a passion for creating strong relationships and helping Booking.com's accommodation partners develop their profitability, aligning with their business goals.

Nicholas holds a seat on the HSMAI Revenue Optimization Board where, alongside his peers, he supports the advancement in the revenue optimization discipline by providing education, best practices exchanges, thought leadership, and networking for revenue professionals, other sales and marketing professionals, and senior management in the hospitality industry

In his spare time, Nicholas resides in Denver, CO with his wife and their dogther, Alice. He is an avid mountain biker, mediocre golfer, and devoted West Ham United football fan.

Laura Jackson - LauraJackson was two weeks old when she took her first airplane flight, and she hasbeen immersed in the aviation industry ever since.  Ms. Jackson currently oversees air servicedevelopment and aviation research for Denver International Airport (DEN), the sixth-busiestairport in the world.  In the past decadeMs. Jackson has led efforts to secure new nonstop service from Denver to Istanbul,Turkey; Dublin, Ireland; Paris, France; Zurich, Switzerland; Munich, Germany; Tokyo,Japan; Panama City, Panama; Grand Cayman; several destinations in Mexico andCanada, as well as multiple domestic destinations.  She leads community engagement efforts to retainexisting air service, pursue new nonstop flights and directs a variety of economicand aviation research initiatives.  

Priorto her current position, Ms. Jackson served as the Director of Marketing andAir Service Development for Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW).  In herrole she developed international branding and marketing campaigns and supportedair service growth in the Detroit metropolitan region.  She began her career in the Denver Mayor’sOffice as an International Trade Specialist assisting companies with theirinternational business activities and promoting Denver globally.

Ms.Jackson serves on several boards and committees to support work advancing thegrowth of Denver’s global reach.  Thisincludes an appointment by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to serve on the RockyMountain District Export Council and participation on the Board of Directors ofthe World Trade Center Denver and the Japan America Society of Colorado.  Ms. Jackson is also a frequent speaker atnational and international conferences on the topic of air service development.

Ms. Jacksonreceived an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a BA inEconomics and International Studies from the University of Richmond(Virginia).  Her education also includesstudy abroad experience and language training in France, Austria and the UnitedArab Emirates.  In 2009 she received the InternationalAirport Professional (IAP) accreditation. In her free time, Ms. Jackson is an avid runner and enjoys traveling toparticipate in marathons and ultramarathons around the world.

Emmy Hise- Senior Director of Hospitality Market Analytics at CoStar Group (STR)
